- For Widows of Defence Personnel Only: A limited number of positions are available for widows of armed forces personnel who died in harness. These positions are in SSC(W) Tech and SSC(W) (Non Tech) (Non UPSC).
What are the Eligibility Requirements?
To be eligible for Indian Army Recruitment 2025, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- For SSC(Tech)- 65 Men and SSCW(Tech)- 36 Women: You must have a BE/B.Tech degree in any engineering stream or be in the final year of an engineering program. If in the final year, you must be able to submit proof of passing the engineering degree exam and marksheets by October 1, 2025, and obtain the engineering degree certificate within 12 weeks of training commencement.
- For Widows of Defence Personnel Only: You must hold a graduation degree in any stream.
- Age Limit:
- For SSC(Tech)- 65 Men and SSCW(Tech)- 36 Women: The age limit is between 20 and 27 years.
- For Widows of Defence Personnel Only: The maximum age limit is 35 years.
What is the Selection Process?
The selection process for Indian Army Recruitment 2025 is rigorous and merit-based. It comprises three stages:
